How to bind Telegram: open WebUI and let OpenClaw guide you
If you already have access to the ClawGo WebUI, the fastest path is not digging through settings. Just ask OpenClaw to guide you through the Telegram binding flow.

Before you start
Make sure you can access the WebUI and chat with OpenClaw. Also make sure Telegram is already signed in on your phone or desktop so you can complete any confirmation step quickly.
The exact flow can vary slightly depending on your current bot setup, so the important part is following the live instructions from OpenClaw instead of memorizing a fixed command.
- Use the Telegram account you actually want to bind.
- Allow pop-ups or new tabs once if your browser blocks the authorization page.
Step 1: open WebUI
Go to your ClawGo WebUI first. If you can already see the OpenClaw chat interface, you are in the right place.
You do not need a hidden settings page for this. The whole binding flow can start directly from the chat.
Step 2: tell OpenClaw exactly what you need
Use plain language in the input box. You do not need a special slash command.
A short, direct request is enough. OpenClaw will decide the next step based on your current environment.
Step 3: follow the instructions exactly
OpenClaw will usually tell you what to do next, such as opening an authorization link, confirming inside Telegram, sending a verification message, or copying a verification string back.
Do not guess the next step and do not skip steps. The most reliable path is to follow the sequence currently shown in WebUI.
- If it gives you a link, open it while using the same account context.
- If it asks for a verification string, copy it exactly as shown.
- If the flow fails halfway through, go back to WebUI and say: “The binding failed, please guide me again.”
After binding, run one quick test
As soon as OpenClaw says the binding is complete, send one test message to the bot on Telegram and confirm that it responds normally.
If WebUI shows success but Telegram does not reply right away, wait a short moment and try once more before treating it as a failure.
